No picture on the TV but the console powers on? Whether it's the original PS4, the Slim, or the Pro, the HDMI port replacement is the same kind of bench work and we do it regularly.
The PlayStation 4 launched in 2013. A lot of consoles out there have been plugged into the same TV for a decade with the same cable running behind the same TV stand. Every time the cable gets jostled, the pull goes to the solder joints. Eventually one of two things happens: the pins inside the port get bent or pushed out of contact, or the solder joints under the port crack from accumulated mechanical stress.
Either way, the visible symptom is the same. The console boots, the fan spins up, the indicator light comes on, and the TV shows nothing. Sometimes there's a brief flicker of video and then it cuts out. Sometimes the picture is there but jumps, flickers, or shows static.
Three things worth ruling out, in order:
Original PS4 (CUH-10xx, 11xx, 12xx), PS4 Slim (CUH-2xxx), and PS4 Pro (CUH-7xxx) all use the same HDMI connector. The board layouts differ. The cooling on the Pro is more involved and the disassembly takes longer because the heatsink and the cooling fan have to come off to get clean access. The actual HDMI port replacement is the same kind of micro-soldering work on all three.
On a PS4 that's been pushed hard for years, the HDMI port isn't always the only thing that's failed. Sometimes the small filter components next to the port have blown, and occasionally the HDMI driver chip itself has died. We check this as part of the diagnosis so we're not replacing only the port on a board where something else needs attention too.
If the console powers on with the blinking blue light symptom, or shuts itself off shortly after boot, see our PS4 blinking blue light repair page. If the disc drive isn't reading or won't eject, see PS4 disc drive repair.
HDMI port replacement on the launch-edition CUH-10xx and revised CUH-11xx and CUH-12xx PS4 boards.
Same repair on the slimmer CUH-2xxx series PS4 Slim, where the board layout is different but the port and the work are the same.
PS4 Pro CUH-7xxx series HDMI port replacement. Pro boards have a different cooling layout that needs to come apart, but the HDMI repair itself is the same.
Inspection of the HDMI driver chip and filter components around the port for collateral damage, especially common on heavily-stressed PS4 boards.
