Console Repair by Mail, Anywhere in Canada
A dead HDMI port, a blue light that won't go white, a Switch that won't charge: these are board-level repairs, done with micro-soldering rather than a part swap. Ship your PS5, PS4, Xbox or Switch to our Ottawa bench from anywhere in Canada. We diagnose it, quote it before any work, repair it and ship it back.

How it works
- Get a shipping label. Fill in the form on our Ship to us page, choose a shipping option, pay for the label and print it at home. Or call us and we'll set it up with you.
- Pack the console. Take out the disc and any game card or memory card. Send the console without its stand, cables and controllers, unless a controller is what needs repairing or we ask for an accessory to test with.
- Drop it off with the courier. Keep the tracking number until the console is back with you.
- Diagnosis and quote. Nothing is repaired until you approve the quote.
- Repair and testing. Board-level work is done under microscope, on the same bench as our walk-in repairs.
- Back to you. Packed with the same care we asked of you. Return shipping is paid by you.
Describe the symptoms
- No picture on the TV, or a picture that cuts in and out (often the HDMI port or the HDMI chip).
- A PS5 that pulses blue and shuts off, or a PS4 stuck on a blinking blue light.
- Shutdowns during games, a loud fan, very hot vents (thermal problems, sometimes the APU joints).
- A Switch that won't charge, or won't show on the TV in the dock.
- Controller drift, or buttons and triggers that don't register.
Also tell us whether the console was dropped, had liquid on it, or was opened or repaired before. Put the same note in the box.
Your games and saves
We work on the hardware fault and leave the internal storage alone. If the storage is part of the fault, we tell you before doing anything that could affect it. If the console still turns on and you use cloud saves, sync them before you ship it.
Is it worth repairing?
Often a board-level repair costs less than replacing the console, but not always. You get the quote after diagnosis, so you decide with the real number in front of you. If your console is still under the manufacturer's warranty, try the manufacturer's repair service first.

Our Services
HDMI Port Replacement
No picture from a PS5, PS4, Xbox One or Xbox Series X or S. The port is soldered to the motherboard, so it comes off and goes on under microscope.
HDMI Port Replacement detailsPS5 Blue Light of Death
The light pulses blue and the console shuts off. Diagnosis finds whether it's the power supply, the APU, the HDMI section or another board fault.
PS5 Blue Light of Death detailsPS4 Blinking Blue Light
A PS4 that blinks blue and never boots, traced to the HDMI section, the power supply, the APU or a failed part on the board.
PS4 Blinking Blue Light detailsOverheating and APU Reflow
Consoles that shut down hot. Thermal service first, and controlled reflow of the APU when heat has cracked the solder joints under it.
Overheating and APU Reflow detailsSwitch Charging and Dock Faults
Loose USB-C ports, no charging, and docks that won't show a picture, including the power chip behind the port.
Switch Charging and Dock Faults detailsControllers
Stick drift on DualSense controllers and Joy-Cons, fixed with a new stick module rather than a cleaning.
Controllers detailsHandheld PCs
Steam Deck, ROG Ally and Legion Go: stick drift, USB-C charging ports, screens, fans and batteries, plus board-level faults.
