Mail-In Repair From Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut
In the North, the nearest bench that does board-level work is usually far away. From Whitehorse, Yellowknife, Iqaluit or a smaller community, you can ship your device to our Ottawa bench, and we'll quote it before any work.

How long shipping takes from the North
Allow more time than anywhere else in the country. Canada Post's published delivery standards for parcels to and from northern and remote areas run roughly 6 to 14 business days by Regular or Expedited Parcel, and roughly 5 to 8 business days by Xpresspost or Priority between regions. These are estimates, not guarantees, and weather and flight schedules can add more. The courier and service you pick on the form will have its own timing.
Fewer courier options
Some northern communities aren't served by every courier. The Ship to us form shows what's available for your address. If nothing comes up, call us and we'll sort it out. If parcels to your home go to the post office instead of the door, tell us the address that works for the return delivery.
Cold-weather tip
When the device comes back in winter, leave the box indoors until the device reaches room temperature before you power it on. Condensation forms on cold electronics in a warm room.
What's worth sending
- Laptops and MacBooks that won't start or charge, or after a spill.
- Consoles with HDMI, power or controller faults.
- Graphics cards that won't post, artifact or crash.
- Boat electronics like chartplotters and fish finders, over the winter while the boat is out.
