Graphics cards and gaming PCs

A card that won't post, artifacts or crashes under load usually has a specific fault on the board: a VRAM chip, a power-stage part, cracked joints under the die. Send just the card, not the whole PC. GPU repair by mail covers what we fix and how to pack it.

Dry air and static

Alberta's dry winter air makes static discharge more likely. When you pull a graphics card or open a laptop to back it up, touch a grounded metal surface first, hold the card by its edges and bracket, and put it straight into an anti-static bag. The same goes when it comes back to you.

What else is worth sending

Shipping from Alberta

Fill in the Ship to us form, choose a shipping option, pay for the label and print it at home. Rough transit times between regions are on our mail-in repair page. From smaller communities and the north of the province, allow more time.

No. Send the graphics card only, unless we ask for something else. If you're not sure the card is the problem, call us first and we'll talk through the symptoms.
Touch a grounded metal surface before you handle it, hold it by the edges and bracket, and put it in an anti-static bag before the padding. Dry winter air makes static more likely.
